Evelyn - I have also have clicked and unclicked the check mark on my laptop
numerous times. However I still don't show the father and mother task
barrs, even after adjusting the monitor. Sorry, about your problem, but I
am glad I'm not the only one out there - thought it was me!

Subject: [TMG] adjusting to fit
screen
When I open my file the screen does not display all of the page. In
the"person" view, it will show the space for the father, but not for the
mother. I have been into the options and it was checked to adjust for the
Windows task bar. I removed the check mark, and tried again. Of course it
was worse this time. Then back to the check mark and checked again. No room
for the mother at the bottom. At the present I am having to go to Control
Panel and adjust the display of the monitor from there. After exiting the
program, I have to go back and adjust the screen again. Also, when I am in
the new screen configuration the pages are to small to really read the
type.
Is there some way to make this work so that the page displays as it is now
except just a tiny bit smaller so that the mother can be displayed on the
monitor?
I do hope I have explained this adequately.
Evelyn
