But to see _free_ updates periodically to keep the present users happy,
that does something for me. About a year or so ago, a comparison was made
as to the user's cost over a period of about three or four years for FTM
and for TMG. The result was that while TMG had a relatively higher initial
cost than FTM, it (TMG) had a much lower cost than FTM. The reason being
that FTM charged for each and every update while TMG had frequent _free_
updates and only a couple that cost the user anything at all.
