Byron,
Your post got me curious, so I tried it, and NO you cannot change the living
flag. If you try to edit it, you will get the following "LIVING is a
standard flag. Neither its label or its default values can be edited. You
can inactivate this flag, but you cannot change or delete it. You may only
edit the label and default values for custom flags."
