Yes, I am and the earliest I can find is John Pearce,
b. ca 1756 NC. I have a Pearce Project list on
my website. You are welcome to download them (Word
format) and see if we have any matches.

I've been told that my John is a desc. of the New England
(RI or MA) Richard Pierce and also, that he's a desc. of
William Pearse, 1690 Isle of Wight, VA. Have not been
able to substantiate either, so that is not in my data.

I'm also researching Hollis, Parker, Murphy, Almon,
Whitehead, Sapsucker, if you are interested in any
of those.
