large chart, Microsoft in their ?wisdom? built a limit into the 16-bit
GDI that controls the display of graphics within Windows 98. The limit
equates to approximately 340 inches (approx. 28ft 4in). To be able to
print your chart you need to make it less than this in width while you
are on Windows 98 (or 95 or ME). [Note NT / 2000 / XP do not have this
limit.]

Robin / Ronald,
I haven't tested this (my longest chart is only 4 feet) but have
you tried to simply print some of the pages in one pass and then the
remaining pages in another pass? For example, pages 1-30 and then 31-50
or whatever is needed to stay with the Gate$ boundaries.
