One factor that Lee omitted from his criteria for selecting software for
longer publications was the ease of constructing multiple indexes. It seems
to me that this is very important in genealogical publications and
something that is hard to do in many packages. It is often the reason why
users find the decision between using a word processor or a cheaper dtp
package difficult until you move to the top-end products. I am told that
Ventura has always been strong in this area for longer documents.
