I am not sure that your definitions will result in significantly different
entries from other definitions, but I do not understand them (or, if I do,
I do not agree).
I do not "create tags for a source". A Tag is a record of some information,
often an event, but sometimes a relationship, or a name, etc. There does
not have to be even a single Source recorded in order to have a TMG data
set with thousands of people and tens of thousands of tags (although I am
*not* suggesting this is a good idea!!). A Source contains evidence related
to the information recorded in one or more Tags, but one does not create
Tags "for" Sources.
The Citation Detail gives information about how the Source is related to
the specific Tag. It does not necessarily say where the information is
found (and in my opinion, the more of that placed in the Source record the
better). It also does not necessarily include any actual information,
although it can (and I frequently use it that way).
I do not know how to respond to the idea that a Tag is a report.... It may
be, I guess, but in the same way as a banana is like a blimp [puzzled grin]??
