I use TMG 4.0d as my main program. ALL NEW DATA is entered into this
version only.
I use TMG 5.03 for what I call my WHORTHESE database. (This is where I put
all those queries from people who ask whether their families are linked to
my families and I can't find a link at the present time.) This gives me
practice in entering people into TMG 5.03
I also have transferred a copy of my TMG 4.0d into TMG 5.03 and this gives
enables me to play around with both databases. Every so often I update it
from TMG 4.0d but I don't enter any new data into it
I also use SECONDSITE mainly to make CD-ROMS
For me, this enables me to enter data into a program I can use for output
and, on the other hand, to experiment (play around with) TMG 5.03 to be
ready for it when those reports are complete.
