Garry - The inability to use the filter could related to the size of your
database and/or your memory. I just ran a filtered PL for Any Birth Group
Tag Year (is equal to or greater than) >= 1880 on my dataset of nearly 3000
people and had no difficulties. If you have a zillion people I can
understand why it might take forever or hang.

I just tried Birth Group* Tag Year > 1880 and worked without any
problem

As it has never worked for me I thought it was a bug which would be
