Okay, I have too much time on my hands, or I am not getting enough sleep. :)
Mom and I were discussing last night what would happen when dad passed away
if say he died at 11:30 PM on a Thursday night. We are about 45 mins to an
hour away from the Hospice nurses. We have to call Hospice, the nurse comes
and pronounces him dead, and that is the date and time that goes on the death
certificate.

So if he passes at 11:30 PM on Thursday, and we call Hospice, and they come
and pronounce him dead on 12:25 AM on Friday, which should I use as his date
of death. The time I KNOW he died, or the OFFICIAL time of death?
