Greg,

I wouldn't recommend running any updates. Every time I updated WinXP I've
have to reformat the hard drive and reinstall everything from
scratch. After the third episode of crashing my system I quit running
updates. My system hasn't crashed in several months. If it ain't broke
don't fix it.
