I found an accent scheme that will fix my problem
Any name tag; suffix contains AGE (GREY and BLACK)
Any name tag; sort date IS EXACTLY 1870 (GREY and BLACK)
-this will set anyone with a 1870 census name tag to ORANGE-the color for two
accents selected.
Birth Group* tag YEAR>1871 (Orange and Black)
-this will set anyone born after the 1870 census to ORANGE.
Death Group* tag YEAR <= 1869 (White and Black)
Death Group* tag YEAR IS NOT EMPTY (White and Black)
-this way if a person has am empty tag, it will not accent them. Since they
have to match both of the criteria to get marked Orange, only those that fit
my needs will get accented.
This accent scheme will mark everyone born after 1871, who died before 1869
and who already has a 1870 census name tag ORANGE with black letters.
Everyone else still needs an 1870 census tag.
I don't know if anyone else can use this accent scheme, but I thought I'd
share it just in case.
