Thanks for clarifying the extra space. So now I think I can explain why
when I replaced [P1] instead of [P], and then ran the Individual Narrative
("IN") Report to test the results, the extra space disappeared. That is
because the use of [P1] instead of [P] caused the IN to begin with the
principal's full name, followed by a period -- then the *second* "sentence"
was birth sentence. So therefore the birth sentence was no longer the first
occurrence. And then that must be why the space disappeared.
