This is one of the things I like most about TMG (using 4.0d). When I DID NOT
do this, I found serious mistakes in some assumptions. Now I can peak at the
memo and know exactly what the document said. This also lets another
researcher come to their own conclusions when they see my reports. I use to
occasionally recheck sources to make sure I had interpreted the data
correctly... now I rarely have that need. Before computers, it was not
feasible to record research in this way... thank goodness for computers and
TMG.

: Teresa wrote that she puts "my entire transcription in my memo
: field, I can read the whole will or deed, or just check who the Grantors
: were, or the price, etc."
:
: I have also done this since I began with TMG. It is a huge help to be
: able to see the memo transcript without having to open the tag in order
: to check on the details, or rethink the evidence.
