Hi Gordon,

Since your problem appeared suddenly, went away and came back, I don't
think your problem is related to Carl's problem.

Carl and Gordon,

It took me about four hours to track down the cause on my computer. I
don't want to send either of you on that path unless it is the only
one left. I have sent all of Carl's messages and my replies to the
developer hoping that he might see something I missed. If he has a
better idea, I will let both of you know. If not, I will go into
detail about how to isolate a software conflict.
