Another option to consider:
_____________________
1790 Census -- [00000]
* The name of the head of the family [Role: FamHead - use instead of age
roles]

1. The number of free white males 16 years and older [Role:Male16+]
2. The number of free white males under 16 years old [Role:Male15-]
3. The number of free white females [Role: Female]
4. The number of other free persons
5. The number of slaves

First, this is an example of memo field content for the FamHead sentence:
2 males 16+; 2 males under 16; 3 females for Henry Peede [22300]

FamHead default= [:CR:]This household was recorded as <[M]> on the census
<of [D]> <[L]>
Results: This household was recorded as 2 males 16+; 2 males under 16; 3
females for
Henry Peede [22300] on the census of 1790 Newbern District, Beaufort Co, NC.

Male16+ default= [:CR:]On the census <of [D],> [R:Male16+] was
[ITAL:]potentially included[:ITAL] as a male 16 years of age or older in the
household of [R:FamHead] <[M0]>
Results: On the census of 1790, John S Peed I was potentially included as a
male 16
years of age or older in the household of Henry F Peed.

Male15- default= [:CR:]On the census <of [D],> [R:Male15-] was
[ITAL:]potentially included[:ITAL] as a male 15 years of age or younger in
the household of [R:FamHead] <[M0]>
Results: On the census of 1790, Lemuel Peed was potentially included as a
male 15
years of age or younger in the household of Henry F Peed.

Female default= [:CR:]On the census <of [D],> [R:Female] was
[ITAL:]potentially included[:ITAL] as a female in the household of
[R:FamHead] <[M0]>
Results: On the census of 1790, Tabitha Stringer was potentially included
as a female
in the household of Henry F Peed.

I didn't create roles for *other free persons or slaves* since I don't tract
those. However, I do include the numeric information in the memo when
applicable. Decided to use italics to highlight the uncertainty of "who"
might be included in the household. I use the role of FamHead most often
and use the other roles predominately in my direct lines when I'm more
certain of the probability.
