Recording US Federal census.
1) Look at Lee Hoffman's website for the default templates and note his
modifications to the Mills source categories 'Census, Federal (Filmed)'
templates.

I've barely scratched the surface of people's ideas about how to record the
US federal census, apologize for any omissions, and welcome any additional
messages or URLs to add to the list. If you have archived messages that you
think should be added to the list, please forward them to me and I'll redo
the list.
Once this is more complete, I'll add the actual messages to the document and
send it to Lee to post (if he is interested).
