If the date is in the CD, then you are using (probably) generic sources.
Generic sources only generate generic bibliography entries, that is one of
the cost/benefits of generic sources. If you are using only partially
generic (one source for all correspondences with one person) then a date
range (or from starting date) could be added. It may not be exactly
according to Mills, but should be good enough. I personally am not a big fan
of using Latin phrases/abbreviations as many of my targets may not fully
understand them.
