Thanks for all the helpful responses and great ideas. I have something I
can run with now.
Like Cheri, I hope that TMG will will consider implementing a Notes and
Research feature could be attached to each individual.
Thanks again,
Charlene Patton

Subject: [TMG] recording research theories
> Hi,
> One thing I continue to be puzzled about is where in TMG do yiu record
your speculations, develop theories, etc., as you conduct your reseach? My
relatives who use FTM have a feature called "Notes" in which they record
their findings, along with their questions, musings, possibilities.as they
question and puzzle over their findings. I can't seem to find a
corresponding feature in TMG.
> Here is what I'm wanting to record now. For instance, I have a very
mysterious great-uncle, Fred Wiltshire, who may or may not have a clone. I
have found a burial in Mississippi who sounds as though it could be him
(though I'm not sure), I have found an entry on the 1910 census that sounds
as though it could be him, though I'm not sure, etc. It seems too "formal"
to enter these as tags, yet I certainly want to keep up with what I've found
and what my thoughts are at the time.
