Sounds like a good theory, Linda, but I don't think that's the
problem. I've got my system set to block all cookies unless I've
specifically told it to accept them from that site. I just checked --
when I access the site all cookies are blocked, and it works fine.

Given that the numeric URL works for those for whom the alpha doesn't
suggests to me it's a name server problem.
