Vic and Patt -- have you been to Swarthmore College outside of Philadelphia
to research? When I was there - many many years ago - they stressed that
Hinshaw didn't live to do *all* of the records and they have many, many more that
he hadn't abstracted. I found a lot of my (Philadelphia/ Montgomery Co.)
bunch weren't in Hinshaw.
Quakers migrated to the Richmond, Ind., area from NC. Heiss covered
these. Later they migrated north and there is also a very good book about the
southern Michigan/northern Indiana group -- I wish I could think of the author's
names, perhaps someone else can...
But my point is that there are a *lot* more records at Swarthmore -- and
Haverford College -- than on library shelves.....
