It's a nice wish that is, in fact, a variant of a long-standing wish for a
change in design of the way Relationship tags work.
As TMG is present;y designed, CAN tags, ADO tags, and all the rest are
simply renamed BIO tags, and function in all respects like BIO tags.
To get proper sentences about CANdidate parents or ADOptions you need to
use event tags with appropriate roles and sentences.
I am sure that once TMG5 is finished Bob will be up for a discussion of how
best to revise the handling of alternative relationship tags. I suspect
there will be a great deal more to it than control over the sentence,
although that's a good start.
