I don't know, but probably a similar entry to a citation for an early land
patent/grant. You might consider using the Bounty-Land File Source Type
from Mills (below) maybe with some modifications.
[NAME OF PERSON] [RECORD TYPE]<; [FILE NUMBER]>< [CD]>; [SERIES]; [RECORD
GROUP]; [REPOSITORY], [REPOSITORY ADDRESS].
The Record Type entry might be "Homestead Application". You may want to
include the
Location Source Element to enter the state/territory. Also, the
Memo/Comments Source Element might be included somewhere with additional
information. I am unsure ans to what Series and/or Record Group might be
used for.
Do you know of any citations for similar papers that you have seen in your
research?
