[PARO] is the parent of the OTHER principal, which of course will not exist
for birth or death group tags. You want [PAR] for birth/death group tags

Subject: Re: [TMG] Birth Tags

The plot thickens. I retried to add Par; Fath, Moth, Paro etc to my birth
tags and it still doesn't work. I then tried it also with death tags and it
doesn't work there either. It works fine with marriage tags. The main
difference is
that the Paro term was added to the marriage tags by the program itself and
the problem only arises if I add the term. That seems to implicate me as the

culprit but I have used the variables terms for quite awhile and never had a

problem. One thing I haven't tried yet is to delete the Paro term from a
marriage tag and then replace it exactly and see if it works. OK I went back
and
tried it by deleting and replacing on the marriage tags and it works just
fine.
Could I have inadvertently checked something some where that doesn't allow
additions to birth and death tags. I have changed the principal designations
many
times with no difficulty so I can't imagine what is going on-Dale
