The monthly meeting of the ROOTS Users Group of Arlington, Virginia, will be
held Saturday, October 11, 2003.

The 9:00 AM tutorial session will be "Is There a PDF File in Your Future?" by
Irby Hollans.

At 10:30 AM the RUG will celebrate its 15th anniversary, "Happy Birthday,
RUG." The meeting will end at noon.

The meeting will be held at Firfax High School, 3500 Old Lee Highway,
Fairfax, Virginia. You will find maps and directions to the school at the RUG
website.

The program of the ROOTS Users Group of Arlington (RUG) is for you if you are
using, or plan to use, The Master Genealogist, Family Tree Super Tools, or
Ultimate Family Tree or any of its predecessors (ROOTS III, IV, V, Visual Roots,
or Family Gathering) as your computer program to record your genealogical
research.

The RUG holdls its monthly meeting/workshop on the second Saturday of each
month. Experienced users are there to respond during the workshop /Q&A period.
Workshops and meetings are open to the public and admission is free.

Membership in the RUG is open to anyone interested in genealogical computing.
Annual dues are $15 per person/couple, and include a subscription to the
monthly RUG newsletter. Anyone wishing to join the ROOTS Users Group of
Arlington, VA, should send a check (made payable to R.U.G.) to P. O. Box 82,
Arlington, VA 22210-0082, together with your name, address, telephone number, and
e-mail address. The next meeting will be held November 8, 2003, at Fairfax High
School, 3500 Old Lee Highway, Fairfax, Virginia.
