Peter's suggestion should solve the problem. But you will need to take
some care to deal with cases where only one parent is known. If you
modify his suggestion above to:

[P]<, daughter of [R:Father]>< and [R:Mother],> was born etc

you deal with the case of neither or both parents or father only known
(except there is a missing comma if only the father is known). To deal
with only the mother known, and to clean up the comma, you could
either edit locally, or create separate roles for the child, such as
"Father only" and "mother only" with sentences that correctly deal
with those cases.
