During my updating to TMG 5.15, I received a strange error message when
attempting to update the Strings.dbf (Language) File.

The sequence was as follows:
a) during the update I was asked if I wanted to update the Language File. I
indicated Yes.
b) Following the completion of the update and reboot of the computer I
opened TMG 5.15 and got the expected reindexing and updating of my project
file.
c) I now wanted to update the Strings.dbf file with my version of French and
my two unique languages Myenglish and Myfrench. ( I have three language
files cFrench.dbf, cMyenglish.dbf, cMyfrench.dbf located in the TMG
Languages Folder.)

Choosing File>Language>Customize>Import I selected "cFrench.dbf" and got, as
expected the message "The Language French is already defined in Strings.dbf.
Are you sure you want to update it?" I answer Yes, get a little box in the
corner that says "Working" and in a couple of seconds the "working" box
disappears. My version of French has been updated as desired.

However, when I attempt to import cMyenglish.dbf in the same manner, I get
the following message:
"This can only be used within a method. 43 Import Language" and options to
Retry, Ignore or Abort.
I choose Ignore, get the "Working" box and then it disappears.

There is no indication at that point that the Myenglish language has been
added. However, when I exit the program and the open it again, the Myenglish
language now appears in the list of languages and all appears normal.

It would appear that a differently worded message, confirming that you want
to add this New language to Strings.dbf would be more appropriate. Or am I
doing something wrong in the way in which I update the Strings.dbf File.
