I have a similar problem. The text macro works fine in a tag entry screen
but in the Add Person Screen, the semi-colons don't work and the entire
macro is put on one line. For example, I have Brant; Ontario; Canada all
attached to shift F2. When I put the cursor on county in the tag add screen,
it puts Brant in the County area, Ontario in the provine and Canada in the
country. In the Add Person screen, the same action would put Brant Ontario
Canada in the county area.

it could be used that way and relayed the info to him. However it's not
working him. For a city;county;state text macro the macro is skipping the
county
and putting the state name where the county belongs.
