You can never have too much speed or memory. That being said, I've
successfully run TMG on my P-III 600 mhz IBM Thinkpad with 96 meg until my
son ran off with the machine. TMG runs well on everything. Choose your
compute for other reasons.
Remember, the Athlon runs hot, a consideration if you'll be sitting with a
laptop on your lap for while. Be sure the fans are installed correctly and
working.
