Mary,
I would create a Step child tag and use it when the child was raised by the
step parent. I wouldn't use in for grown children whose parents marry at a
later date.
Male sentence:
[R:Step-child] became a step son of [R:step-Parent] when his
<[R:mother]><[R:father]> remarried <[D]>. <[M]>
The female sentence would say step daughter.

Fellow Fanatics,
A question for you. If Widower, or bachelor X marries Widow Y, or vice
versa, do not any children on the "other side" of the spouse's family become
step-children of the other spouse as of this date? This would seem to me to
be a logical conclusion, and I've got lots of this happening in my family.
My problem is that I can find no way to enter a date for the
Father/Mother/Son/Daughter-ste relationship tags. I may well have missed
something here, but I am at a loss. This gets really messy on person-views
when step children may be younger than step mother, and I would like to at
least be able to put in a sort-date.
Advice much appreciated,
Mary
