Hi, Tom:

John C., as I understand it, asked for people *who think local sentences are bad*, to explain why they think so. It is an accepted fact that many TMG users do *NOT* think local sentences are bad. It is also true that for almost every way of doing things without using local sentences, there is also a way of doing it that does use local sentences.

To each his own. But local sentences are still bad [grin].
