About my network: All XP machines, different login names and passwords, but
the folders are shared.

About copying/pasting: I worked from my computer, copying the file from the
2nd computer and pasting back on my computer. Not sure if that answers your
question.

Kay,

Do you do the copy and paste from the same computer the backup was created
on or did you do the backup on one computer and the copy and past from
another?
