I am a little confused about this topic. I tried running a descendant
journal report using NEGHS, NGSQ and TAG settings and the only place the
sentence about no children appeared was when the descendant had more than
one spouse and I had entered children for one of them. It would seem to me
to be logical to show all the children for that descendant, with whichever
spouse, if I was going to show any of the children.

One of my pet peeves is on-line family information which shows a family
having 3 children when I know there were at least 6. If no children are
shown, then it would be probable that that line was not being traced. If
only one child is shown, generation after generation, then it is probable
that only the direct line is being traced. But if only a few of many are
shown, I wonder how good a researcher that person is. Just one of my
quirks, I guess.
