Colleen Fitzpatrick, author of "Forensic Genealogy", is going to be in
the metro Washington DC area for the Genetic Genealogy Conference Nov 4
& 5. She is willing to speak before any genealogy groups in the area
while here.

I saw Colleen's book mentioned very favorably in an APG listserve post,
and after reading the chapter descriptions on her website,
http://www.forensicgenealogy.info/index.html , purchased it. It hasn't
arrived yet so cannot comment more about it, but have had some email
correspondence with Colleen on the subject, and learned about her
forthcoming visit to the east coast.

Her itinerary, so far is (from her email) shows some available speaking
time in the Washington area from Nov 1 or 2, depending on when she gets
to the Washington area, through November 8. Sounds like a wonderful
opportunity for any genealogy group to hear an interesting and
knowledgeable speaker.
