Hi Teresa,
I'm going to *assume* that you were saving a census image from Ancestry and
I'm going to *assume* that the Ancestry Enhanced Image Viewer was in use.
Rather than using right-click, look on the upper-right side of the screen
and you will see Print-Save-Share-Help icons. If you click Save it will ask
you if you want to Save to your hard drive or Ancestry -- make sure it say's
hard drive. At this point a standard Windows save box will open and you will
be able to set the drive, directory, and filename. I've never used the
right-click Save As, but always the Ancestry. I don't know if the method
makes a difference or not, but the entire image has been saved everytime
I've done it.
Doing it the way I described does not save the entire page with HTML, but
only the image. So I've been able to manipulate it at will right off my
computer.
Hope this helps,
Tom
