I can think of one..if I want to link tags (that have intervening tags between them) with the new NPNC code!

Sort Dates Real Dates
Birth-1-1-01 1-1-01
death2-1-01 15-12-08
burial 3-1-01 17-12-08

output= [P] (b.[D][:NPNC:]-d.[D][:NPNC]-bur.[D]) yada yada yada, etc.
