Hi Teresa,
Executors were named by the testator in their will. In the case of someone
who died intestate, someone (creditor, potential heir, etc) requested the
court to administer the estate. Letters of Administration were drawn up, and
an adminstrator was appointed. I have separate tags for probate and
administration. The process isn't that different, but my roles and
sentences differ. Probably could have put them all on a single tag, if I'd
thought it through first. <G>

When I set up my estate tags, I created roles for executors, but now I am
finding some of them mention administrators. What is the difference between
the two roles, and should I have both for an estate tag.
