Subject: Endnotes not picking up CD2-CD4

Colleagues,
I have decided to turn from a splitter to (gasp) a clumper on my census
documents. I have set up the templates for (what I call) “Census 1930
(generic)” etc. I am using the County as my base and inserting township or
city information etc. in the CD.
Here is what my full footnote template looks like:
[CD1] household, 1930 U.S. Census, <[CD2], ><[COUNTY]><, [STATE],
>population schedule<, [CD3]><, [CD4]>.
CD1: Tiede Mennenga household
CD2: Judson Township
CD3: (enumeration district 6-46, page no. 5B, household no. 47)
CD4: is anything else I wish to put in, usually blank.
I am getting an output of:
Tiede Mennenga household, 1930 U.S. Census, Blue Earth County, Minnesota,
population schedule.
Any ideas why CD2-4 are not connecting?
Jill
