I'm just beginning to analyze some of my source printouts and notice that
the following shows no period at the end of the second line, but a period
beginning the thrird line.

1 Records of Nancy Sorensen (8311 Elizabeth Drive, Lincoln, Nebraska
68505-2019: unpublished), letter dated October 4, 2004, containing FGR dated
Jan 30, 2003
. Hereinafter cited as Records of N. Sorensen.

When I pull up the saved endnotes I see that there is a <R> where the period
should be on the second line.

1 Records of Nancy Sorensen (8311 Elizabeth Drive, Lincoln, Nebraska
68505-2019: unpublished), letter dated October 4, 2004, containing FGR dated
Jan 30, 2003<R>
. Hereinafter cited as Records of N. Sorensen.

However this <R> does not show on the full footnote template below.

<[COMPILER]> [ITAL:][TITLE][:ITAL] ([PUBLISHER ADDRESS]: [PUBLISHER]<,
[PUBLISH DATE]>)<, [CD].> <Hereinafter cited as [ITAL:][SHORT
TITLE][:ITAL]>. <[MEMO].>

This is how I would like the printout to read:

1 Records of Nancy Sorensen (8311 Elizabeth Drive, Lincoln, Nebraska
68505-2019: unpublished), letter dated October 4, 2004, containing FGR dated
Jan 30, 2003.
Hereinafter cited as Records of N. Sorensen.

How do I get rid of the <R> ???? (which I assume is a carriage return? But
where did it come from?)

Many thanks,

Joan Thomas
