Lee,
Your advice worked. What is difficult in this situation is that I did not
type 'carriage return' in the CD. It may have been entered, but hidden,
when I inadvertently clicked 'enter' at the end of a line of the CD. I
checked all the places this source was used, and ended up simply deleting
the whole CD and retyping it. Now it reads as expected. Have to watch what
I'm doing!! I would think that an inadvertent space or enter command would
only add a superfluous space...one that would be corrected by running
optimize. I would not expect it to add a hidden formatting code!
Thanks for your help.
