Thanks Bob and crew!!

I tested the two bugs I had reported in 6.07 and both are fixed!
For completeness in later searching the archives their subject
lines were:

Tree or Family view disables F2 -- fixed
RTF report aborts TMG -- fixed

However, <sigh> in testing I seem to have found a new bug/issue.
I will report that as a separate thread.
