If you are have Second Site available, try it on related parts of your
data and, if it hangs up too, look at the log file to get an idea where
things went awry.

Otherwise - if no one comes up with a simpler solution, try reports with
a subset of what you are using. For example, if the report is an
ancestor report of someone, try ancestor reports of the parents; if one
hangs up, you've located half of the problem, so to speak.
