If you're asking about creating a chart like the ones that (used to) come
out of FTM, where the unknown people were represented by blank boxes to a
set number of generations, then no. Not *in* TMG. (And it irritates me. I
LOVED those charts. I used to tuck them in at night with chocolates and
lullabyes ... OK, well not quite that much, but I did love them.)
BUT you can open the chart in VCF and fake it by copying an existing box,
pasting it in the desired location, then deleting the contents. Add a
connector line, and voila -- empty box. It's a little annoying, but in those
that instances I care enough to do it, it's not *that* time consuming.
