One other thing I am thinking -- if you have created an ancestral
chart to the oldest known generation and wish to show say a great
grandparent on that chart, you could just add a person box positioned
in about the right place ancestrally speaking and note information in
it. You could also add blank generational boxes either blank or with
some text. You can do this in Visual ChartForm (VCF) by clicking on
one of the box icon buttons located beneath the printer icon button
in the toolbar. You would then point the mouse cursor near where you
wanted the new box placed (you can move the box around later if you
wish). You may want to add connecting lines to boxes and that is
done the same way by selecting the type of line from one of the
button icons to the left of the box icon buttons and then pointing to
where the line should start, hold the left button down and drag the
line to the end point and release the left button of the mouse.

Hope this helps -
