I have used Mailbag Assistant for years. http://www.fookes.com/mailbag/
I have over 30,000 messages archived back to 1986. If I can think of a
keyword, or a message element, I usually find the message I want.
I quit archiving Rootsweb Message Lists a few years back, and removed
most of the messages from the ones I use, which I now believe was a
mistake. I can search my message archives better with the Mailbag
Assistant, that I can using the Rootsweb Archive Search Engine.
Your mileage may vary........
