Well, I finally had time to test it and the help file says it interprets a ;
as a TAB. And it looks like it only does 254 characters. So it won't work
for my needs. Any other suggestions?

I use macros all the time but the largest is only 50 +/- characters long.

I would also be interested in what people use their macros for...

My primary macro is for my standard formatting for my census memo where I
insert the name, relationship and age of the individual.

How do others use their macros?

I have never used Macros in the time I have had TMG, but it dawned on me
when we were discussing the block quotes the other day that perhaps the
macros would be a good place to store the text to create the block quote. Is
there a limit on the number of characters a block quote can handle?
