Chris,
From what you are saying, the husband is Principal 1, the wife is Principal
2 and the daughter is a witness. If you double click on the daughter in the
tag edit window, you will see the window for the witness memo field. To use
this for the wife, you would need to unlink her as Principal 2 and link her
as a witness, OR use Barb's method.

Barb,
I imported the data (from UFT). In UFT the tag/event is the 1910 census.
There were 3 members of the household -- head of the family, wife, and
daughter. Those are the same roles that appeared in TMG.
In the tag entry screen for the wife (Martha) -- she appears as wife and her
husband appears as head of the family. In the witness section of the tag
entry screen the name of the daughter appears listed. That's how these three
appear.
Each time I change the memo for the wife, for instance, the memo for the
other two -- head of family and daughter -- also changes with the same
information.
I will experiment some more.
Thanks,
Chris
If the wife is a witness rather than a principal, then the [WM] should work
