Hi Fran, Lee, Terry, Teresa and Diana, This list is such a great resource, and I really appreciate your taking the time to give me some new ideas. Lee, I use macros for some repetitive tag memos - like census information - but hadn't thought about using macros for citation templates. I am liking that a lot. Thanks! Diana, The M2 idea is really interesting, but I have M2s in some of my sentences. I am going to think about this, but I'd have to be careful. Jill, I now have a single source for USGENWEB and Rootsweb (excluding message boards and mailing lists), and I have several CD templates. Thanks for the reminder as I now need to either document them on the supplemental tab or create macros for them
