I also put my notes on CDs in the Source Definition
screen/Supplemental/Comments section. The only time you have to be careful
is for those sources which are annotated. In that case the comments are
placed into the citation. I have deleted [Comments] from the annotated
sources for that reason and because I can put them into the CD.

Huh? What good does that do? The CREF field is in the Source
Citation window which contains the Citation Detail (CD) field. The
purpose of the hidden text is to remind the user what goes into the
CD field (e.g., which segments are which). Entering it in the CREF
field is after the fact. That's like putting your turn signal on
after you made the turn.
