Thanks, Lee. I tried that on the few (very few) that I had that were
annotated and came to the conclusion that the long descriptions (usually of
provence) was not a characteristic of my information. I decided that the few
annotated citations I did have did not justify the use of the Comment field.
But, that's just one way of looking at it. I am sure there are others who
really depend on the comment feature in their citations.

If you use Hidden Text in placing your notes in the Comments field,
you can still use that field (Source Element) in the Source
Templates for that Source. With the Hidden Text, the notes would be
ignored when the Source is printed if the Comments Source Element is
part of the Source Templates(s). The only caveat is that there could
be some minor initial confusion to the user when the Source is opened
to retrieve the notes for use.
